Pursuant to Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 1074 of 02.04.2019 on simplifying visa issuance procedures for foreigners and stateless persons who enter the Republic of Azerbaijan to participate at the 43rd session of the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO, visas will be issued at the international airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan between 20 June – 10 July 2019. Either document is required for accreditation as follows:
- The official invitation letter of UNESCO;
- The document proving accreditation in accordance with relevant rules of UNESCO.
Meanwhile, foreigners and stateless persons traveling to the Republic of Azerbaijan to participate at the 43rd session of the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO will be able to obtain an e-visa through the “ASAN Visa” system in accordance with Article 4.2 of the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 923 of 01.06.2016 (only 94 countries - on the list of approved countries) by applying at www.evisa.gov.az (nationals of 94 countries are eligible). Respective applications are reviewed within 3 business days and urgent cases are reviewed within 3 hours.
