No:048/22, Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the telephone conversation between the Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Zalkaliani

On February 14, 2022, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Zalkaliani.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov asked his Georgian counterpart about the current situation in the country in connection with the earthquake in Georgia yesterday. He said Azerbaijan is always ready to help friendly Georgia in case of need.

Minister David Zalkaliani said the earthquake did not cause serious consequences and thanked his Azerbaijani counterpart for the solidarity shown.

The Ministers discussed topical issues of developing bilateral relations, as well as regional issues.

The sides also exchanged views on cooperation within international organizations and events to be held in the coming months.
