No:120/22, Comment of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the statements of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia A. Mirzoyan on the proposals of Azerbaijan on the normalization of relations between the two countries

Azerbaijan's position on the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia is clear and consistent. We do not need to repeat the position we have repeatedly stated.

Taking into account the importance of normalization of relations between the two countries and peace-building in the region after the conflict, Azerbaijan has put forward proposals in this regard and is ready to move forward in this direction.

If Armenia also takes the issue seriously, then it must present its concrete proposals and thus must demonstrate its readiness to start substantive and result-oriented negotiations.
