Ambassador Elmar Mammadov presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, H.E. Ms. Iliana Iotova.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Elmar Mammadov conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Ambassador Mammadov noted that he was honoured to commence his diplomatic mission in the Republic of Bulgaria and expressed his commitment to further strengthening the friendly relations and strategic partnership between the two countries.
At the meeting held following the presentation of credentials, President Iliana Iotova expressed her appreciation for the successful development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries. The sides reaffirmed the strategic partnership established between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Bulgaria in 2015 and emphasized the importance of further enhancing cooperation across various areas of the bilateral agenda.
