On 24 February 2016, Ambassador Dr. Nargiz Gurbanova, presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria H.E. Mr. Rosen Plevneliev

On 24 February 2016 H.E. President Rosen Plevneliev accepted the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Bulgaria, Dr. Nargiz Gurbanova. Ambassador Gurbanova conveyed to President Plevneliev the greetings of H.E. Mr. İlham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Ambassador said she was honored to commence her diplomatic assignment in Bulgaria. President Plevneliev noted the successful development of bilateral cooperation between our countries and expressed his support for strengthening the partnership between the two nations.
