President of Bulgaria offers condolences to Azerbaijan over plane crash
On 25 December, the Embraer 190 passenger plane of Azerbaijan Airlines, which was flying from Baku to Grozny, crashed near the city of Aktau, resulting in the numerous loss of life or injury, and by decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, December 26 was declared a day of mourning in Azerbaijan. In this regard, flags were lowered and a book of condolences was opened at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Bulgaria.

The President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev and the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Azerbaijan expressed their condolences to Azerbaijan over the tragedy.
