Embassy of Azerbaijan Celebrates Sustainable Gastronomy Day in Sofia
Sofia, 18 June 2026 – The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Bulgaria organized a special event dedicated to Sustainable Gastronomy Day, bringing together government officials, mayors, representatives from the agriculture, tourism, environment, hospitality, and gastronomy sectors, academia, and the media from Azerbaijan and Bulgaria, as well as international organizations to discuss the role of gastronomy in sustainable development, cultural preservation, and environmental responsibility.

With a record number of around 60,000 participants, WUF13 went down in history as the largest World Urban Forum ever held.
