Ambassador Huseyn Huseynov gave an interview to the Euronews Bulgaria
On 22 December, an extensive interview with the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Bulgaria Huseyn Huseynov, was aired on the Euronews Bulgaria. In the interview, the ambassador answered questions about the successful organization of the COP29 conference under the Azerbaijan''s presidency, the important decisions taken within the framework of this event, the priorities set by Azerbaijan for the transition to green energy, the Azerbaijan-Bulgaria strategic partnership and other topics.
In the interview, Ambassador H. Huseynov emphasized that Azerbaijan has gained high trust and significant influence thanks to its multi-vector foreign policy strategy, which is guided by its national interests, and the values of international solidarity, peace and cooperation, as well as as a result of the successful implementation of large-scale energy and transport projects of significant international importance, and spoke about the contribution of Azerbaijan, which has transformed from an oil and gas exporter to a provider of renewable green energy carriers, to the energy security of Europe.
The interview also provided information about the Azerbaijan-Bulgaria strategic partnership, the successful implementation of high-level political dialogue, the increasing pace of bilateral trade relations, and areas with broad potential for cooperation in the non-energy sector.
